Antminer S19j / S19j Pro BeagleBone Black Control Board – Bitmain Replacement Motherboard
The Antminer S19j and S19j Pro BeagleBone Black (BB) control board is the Bitmain replacement motherboard built around the BeagleBone Black ARM Cortex-A8 SoC. It runs the miner firmware, drives the S19j hashboards, manages fan PWM, monitors per-domain voltages and temperatures, and exposes the management API over the network. When a control board fails, the miner is bricked even if the hashboards and PSU are healthy — replacing the BeagleBone Black version of the control board with the same revision is the standard ops fix and brings the unit back online without touching any other hardware.
S19j BB vs S19j Amlogic: Which Do You Need?
Bitmain shipped the S19j family with two control-board generations — an early BeagleBone Black (BB) board and a later Amlogic A113D / C76 board. They are not interchangeable: ribbon pinouts, mounting points and firmware images differ. Before ordering, confirm which generation the broken miner uses (open the cage and check the silkscreen). If the miner has a BB board, this listing is the correct part. If it has an Amlogic A113D board, source the C76 motherboard instead. Mismatching the two will not boot.
Installation
Power off the miner and isolate from mains. Open the control-board cage; unplug the Ethernet cable, the LED indicator ribbon, the fan headers, and the hashboard ribbons (label each one to keep ordering). Unscrew the failed control board. Mount the new BeagleBone Black board on the same standoffs, reconnect the hashboard ribbons in their original positions, the fan headers, the LED ribbon and the Ethernet cable. Power up; the miner should DHCP within a minute and the firmware should detect the hashboards on first boot.
