APW17 P13 4-pin Male Plug – Antminer S21 / S19jXP Power Cord Assembly
This is the P13 / PA13 4-pin male plug used on the Bitmain APW17 PSU output cable that powers the Antminer S21 and S19jXP hashboards. The connector body is moulded for high-current contact, the four pins are crimp-and-solder type, and it mates directly with the P14 female socket on the APW17 PSU. It is the right part if you are repairing a damaged power cord, building a custom-length harness, or replacing a connector that has discoloured from heat.
Why You Need the Right Connector
The APW17 PSU pushes 12-15V at very high current to the S21 / S19jXP hashboards. The P13 / P14 connector pair is rated for that current — the four pins share the load and are spaced for adequate creepage. A generic or undersized connector will heat up, melt the plastic, and eventually fail open or arc. Always replace damaged P13 plugs with the OEM-spec part rather than improvising.
Assembly
Strip the cable jacket and individual conductor insulation to the length specified by the connector manufacturer (typically 6-8mm). Crimp each contact onto its conductor with the right die — a generic crimper will under-compress the contact and create a hot joint. Insert the contacts into the plug body in the correct sequence (refer to the OEM cable colour code) until each one snaps into its locking position. Verify continuity and pin orientation before testing on the PSU.
