Whatsminer M30S Water Cooling Plate Kit – 3-Plate Aluminum Heatsink Set

Convert your air-cooled Whatsminer M30S to liquid cooling with this complete water cooling plate kit. The package includes three aluminum cooling plates (one per hash board), a 1-to-3 liquid shunt manifold, hash board card-slot aluminum strips, silicone water pipes, main water pipes, and all necessary clamps and screws. The plates are manufactured using a one-piece welding process for leak-free performance and feature a 9.8 mm outer-diameter interface for standard coolant tubing.

Why Water-Cool the M30S

The M30S generates substantial heat across three hash boards, and in high-ambient environments the stock fans struggle to keep ASIC temperatures below the throttle threshold. Water cooling removes heat far more efficiently than forced air, allowing the miner to sustain its rated hash rate without thermal throttling. It also eliminates fan noise — an important benefit for operators running machines in shared or residential spaces, or for those converting to immersion or oil-cooling setups.

Installation Overview (11-Step Process)

The kit includes a step-by-step guide: remove the original heat sinks, clean residual thermal compound from the ASIC chip surfaces, apply fresh thermal paste evenly across all chip tops, mount the water cooling plates onto each hash board, install thermal stickers where required, reassemble the hash boards into the chassis, connect silicone piping from each plate to the 1-to-3 shunt, run the main pipes to your external radiator or cooling row, fill and bleed the loop, and perform a leak test before powering on.
