About the Product

Whatsminer 14-Pin Test Fixture Cable – Hashboard Diagnostics for M20 / M30 / M31 / M32 / M50 Series

This Whatsminer 14-pin test fixture cable is the signal interconnect between a Whatsminer hashboard test fixture and the hashboard under repair, covering the M20, M21, M30, M31, M32 and M50 series. It carries the SPI clock and data, chain enable, fixture-to-board ID and ground returns that the fixture firmware uses to scan each ASIC chip on the chain. Without a working signal cable the fixture will report all chips as missing — which is also the most common reason a healthy hashboard is misdiagnosed as dead.

Why a Spec-Matched Cable Matters

The fixture-to-hashboard link runs SPI-class signals at megahertz rates, so cable impedance, conductor consistency and connector contact resistance all influence whether the fixture reads chip IDs cleanly. A cheap, oxidised or wrong-pinout cable will return intermittent chip counts and lead the technician to replace good chips. This cable uses tin-plated contacts and twisted ground returns to hold signal integrity over the typical 20-30cm fixture-to-board span.

Use

Plug one end into the 14-pin signal header on the Whatsminer M-series test fixture, the other end into the corresponding 14-pin (2x7) header on the hashboard. Power on the fixture, run a chip-scan from the fixture menu, and compare the chip count against the expected number for the board model (e.g. 88 chips for an M30S+ hashboard). A clean cable will return a stable count; a bad cable will produce flickering numbers across rescans.
