25V Hashboard Boost Module – Antminer Hydro Series Hashboard Repair
This 25V boost module replaces faulty on-board boost circuits on Antminer Hydro hashboards, converting a 19–20V input to the required 25V output for the chip voltage domain. It is designed for hashboards where the original boost circuit has burnt components or lifted pads that cannot be reflowed. Compatible with S21 Hydro, S21XP Hydro, T19 Hydro, S19 Hydro, S19 Pro Hydro, S19 Pro+ Hydro and S19XP Hydro.
When You Need a Boost Module
The on-board boost converter steps up the PSU output voltage to the level required by the ASIC chips. When this circuit fails — typically from sustained overcurrent or thermal stress — the pads can burn away, making a direct component replacement impossible. This external boost module bypasses the damaged circuit entirely, tapping the 19–20V input rail and delivering a clean 25V output to the chip domain. It restores hash rate without needing to repair the damaged PCB traces.
Installation
Identify the failed boost circuit on the hashboard. Connect the module's input to the 19–20V supply rail and the output to the 25V chip domain rail, bypassing the damaged section. Secure the module to the board to prevent movement. Reinstall the hashboard and verify correct voltage output and full chip detection in the dashboard.
