The SGM8304 Voltage Amplifier Conversion Module is a brand-new replacement board built to restore the voltage feedback path on Antminer S21, S19XP, S21XP and T21 hash boards. Usage and installation
The SGM8304 operational amplifier sits inside the hash board feedback chain that conditions voltage sense lines for the DC-DC regulators feeding the BM13xx ASIC chain. When the original IC drifts, becomes noisy or fails outright, the regulator can no longer correctly track the chain voltage, which is when the board starts producing instability, low hashrate or refuses to boot. This conversion module replaces the original SGM8304 circuit as a drop-in repair assembly.
Installation is a standard hash board rework: locate the SGM8304 footprint area on the affected board, desolder the original IC and any damaged passives, install the conversion module on the matching pads, reflow, clean, and re-test the board on a hash board tester. Confirm that the amplified voltage feedback is in spec before returning the board to the miner.
