DZ06038B12UG 60mm Cooling Fan – Whatsminer P21 / P221 / P222 PSU Repair
The DZ06038B12UG is a 60×60×38mm high-speed cooling fan rated at 12V / 1.4A, weighing just 80g. It is a direct replacement for the internal fan in Whatsminer P21E, P21D, P221C, P222C, P221B and P222B power supply units. Available in connector variants matched to each PSU model, ensuring correct plug-and-play installation without rewiring.
Why PSU Fan Failure Causes Downtime
The P21/P221/P222 series PSUs rely on a single 60mm fan for all internal cooling. When it fails or slows, internal component temperatures rise rapidly — the PSU's thermal protection shuts it down, taking the miner offline. Replacing at the first sign of bearing noise or RPM drop prevents unplanned downtime and protects the PSU's internal capacitors and MOSFETs from heat damage.
Installation
Disconnect mains and open the PSU enclosure. Unplug the old fan connector and remove mounting screws. Install the new DZ06038B12UG with the airflow arrow matching the original direction. Secure, reconnect, close the enclosure and verify normal PSU temperatures under load. Select the correct connector variant for your PSU model when ordering.
