MDU3603RH P-Channel MOSFET 30V 67A – Hashboard Repair for Antminer S17 & T17 Series
The MDU3603RH is a P-channel power MOSFET rated at 30 V / 67 A in a compact 8-pin DFN package, used on the hashboards of the Antminer S17, S17e, T17 and T17e. With 7.5 mΩ Rds(on) at 20 V and 38.4 nC gate charge, it provides efficient high-side switching in the ASIC power distribution circuit. Brand-new original QFN8 device.
Why the MDU3603 Fails on S17/T17 Hashboards
The MDU3603 connects the supply rail to groups of ASIC chips as a high-side switch. A failed device either cuts power to its chip group — causing those chips to disappear from the hash chain — or fails short-circuit, damaging the distribution trace. The affected section produces no hash rate until the MOSFET is replaced.
Replacement Procedure
Remove the hashboard and locate the failed MDU3603 near the chip group power input trace. Verify drain-source with a multimeter in diode mode — a short or open confirms failure. Desolder with hot air at 320–350 °C, clean all pads with solder wick. Align pin 1, apply flux and reflow. Confirm megaohm-range drain-source resistance with no gate bias, then reinstall and verify full chip detection.
