SMA to IPEX RF Cable – RF1.13 150mm with 11mm Thread Length
This SMA to IPEX antenna cable uses RF1.13 micro-coax in a 150mm length with an 11mm threaded SMA bulkhead on the chassis side and an IPEX (U.FL) connector on the PCB side. It is the standard pigtail used to bring an external WiFi / LTE / LoRa antenna out of a sealed enclosure to a control board's IPEX antenna socket — covering use cases from ASIC controller boards with WiFi modules, to ESP32 / LoRa development boards, to industrial gateway products that need an external rubber-duck antenna.
Why RF1.13 Coax
RF1.13 is a thin, flexible 50Ω coaxial cable specifically designed for short antenna jumpers. At 150mm it has minimal insertion loss across the 2.4-5.8GHz WiFi bands and the 700MHz-2.7GHz LTE bands, making it suitable for both WiFi and cellular antennas. The thin profile lets the cable route inside tight enclosures without strain on either connector.
Installation
Snap the IPEX (U.FL) connector vertically onto the board socket — press straight down with a fingertip until you feel a click. Route the cable to a chassis hole, slip the SMA bulkhead through, and torque the SMA nut to 1Nm on the outside of the chassis (a 6mm or 8mm spanner is plenty — over-torquing splits the SMA threads). Screw the external antenna onto the SMA stud.
