Is the SY7302ABC compatible with other Antminer models?
The U7 slot specification is for the S17+ hashboard. Other Antminer generations use different PMIC parts at different positions.
Can I test the PMIC outside the hashboard?
The SY7302ABC requires its surrounding passive network (sense resistors, feedback divider, output capacitors and inductor) to operate correctly. Bench validation typically uses a dedicated test fixture.
What else should I check after a PMIC failure?
Verify the feedback divider resistors, the output inductor and the bulk caps around U7 for collateral damage. A failed PMIC often takes the local domain capacitor with it.
