TPH1R403NL N-Channel MOSFET – Antminer S19 Series Hashboard Repair
The TPH1R403NL is an N-channel silicon MOSFET with ultra-low Rds(on), low gate charge and fast switching characteristics, used as a power switching device on Antminer S19, S19j, S19 Pro and S19 XP hashboards. The gate threshold of 1.3–2.3V ensures clean turn-on from the hashboard's low-voltage gate drive signals. Minimal leakage current keeps quiescent power loss negligible. New original component.
Why Ultra-Low Rds(on) Matters on S19 Hashboards
The S19 series hashboards push high current through each power MOSFET to feed groups of ASIC chips. Every milliohm of on-resistance translates directly to watts of heat. The TPH1R403NL's ultra-low Rds(on) keeps conduction losses to a minimum, maintaining stable voltage at the chips and preventing the thermal runaway loop that degrades higher-resistance devices over thousands of hours of continuous operation.
Replacement Procedure
Remove the hashboard and locate the failed TPH1R403NL in the power distribution path. Verify failure with a multimeter — check drain-source resistance and gate response. Desolder with hot air, clean pads with solder wick, place the new device with correct pin orientation and reflow. Confirm proper resistance readings, reinstall and verify full chip detection and normal hash rate.
