Whatsminer P21D Switching Power Supply 3300W – Replacement PSU for M20S, M21S, M30S & M31S
The Whatsminer P21D is a 3,300 W switching power supply for the M20S (62–70 T), M21S (50–58 T), M30S and M31S. It accepts 200–277 VAC at 50/60 Hz (20 A max input), delivering a primary 12–265 V rail plus a secondary 12 V / 10 A auxiliary rail for the control board and fans. The C19 plug and 6-pin output provide a direct drop-in replacement without wiring modifications.
When to Replace a Whatsminer PSU
Common failure indicators include the miner not powering on, voltage sag under load (reduced hash rate or board detection errors), audible buzzing, blown input fuses, or intermittent shutdowns under thermal stress. Electrolytic capacitor ageing and primary-side MOSFET failure are the most frequent root causes. Swapping the entire PSU is almost always faster and more cost-effective than board-level repair in a production environment.
Installation Guide
Power off and unplug all 6-pin connectors from hashboards and control board. Remove mounting screws and slide the old PSU out. Insert the new P21D, secure it, reconnect all cables, and plug the C19 cord into a 200–277 V outlet. Verify in the dashboard that all hashboards are detected and hash rate reaches target. The P21D's 34 dB noise level makes it one of the quieter options in the P21 family. Ensure your circuit is rated for at least 20 A at 200 V — running below 200 V triggers undervoltage protection.
