BK820A DC Fan Speed Tester – 7-Inch Touch Screen with Built-In Oscilloscope
The BK820A is a professional DC fan testing instrument featuring a 7-inch colour touch screen (800×480), an integrated oscilloscope for real-time current and FG signal waveform display, and a built-in programmable power supply delivering 0–52V at up to 5A. It tests 2-wire, 3-wire, 4-wire PWM and brushless fans across 0–65,000RPM with ±1% speed accuracy. Essential bench equipment for any shop diagnosing and qualifying mining cooling fans.
Why a Dedicated Fan Tester Matters
Mining fans are high-value consumables — a repair shop processes dozens per week. Testing them with a multimeter and guesswork wastes time and misses intermittent faults. The BK820A provides a controlled test environment: set the exact supply voltage, adjust PWM duty cycle across multiple frequencies (25kHz, 6.25kHz, 1kHz, 200Hz, 100Hz), measure actual RPM via IR sensor, and inspect the FG and current waveforms on the built-in oscilloscope. Fan polarity reverse and short-circuit protection prevent damage to the tester during faultfinding.
Key Capabilities
The programmable supply automatically adjusts voltage to match the fan's rating, while the IR sensor head provides contactless speed measurement. The oscilloscope displays current draw and tachometer signal simultaneously, making it easy to spot bearing noise (current ripple), stalled-rotor faults and missing FG pulses.
