IX4340N Dual Low-Side MOSFET Driver 8-SOIC for ASIC PSU and DC-DC Repair
The IX4340N is a dual low-side MOSFET driver in an 8-SOIC (0.154" / 3.90mm) package, with each output capable of sourcing and sinking 5A peak current. With 16ns typical propagation delay and 7ns rise/fall times, it is engineered for high-frequency applications such as switch-mode power supplies, DC-DC converters, motor controllers and power inverters — including the auxiliary gate drive stages inside ASIC miner PSUs.
The two outputs can be paralleled when even higher peak gate-drive current is required, making the IX4340N a flexible building block for repair shops servicing PSU control boards and hash-board domain converters.

Where the IX4340N fits in an ASIC PSU
Low-side gate drivers are paired with PWM controllers to provide the fast, high-current edge required to switch primary or domain MOSFETs cleanly. In ASIC PSU repair the IX4340N (or its equivalent) appears in the auxiliary supply gate drive, in synchronous rectifier control stages, and in some hash-board domain converters where each driver output controls a separate phase.
Compatibility
Use the IX4340N wherever the original schematic calls for an 8-SOIC dual low-side MOSFET driver with 4-5A peak output. Verify pinout against the original part marking before substituting; for higher-current applications, paralleling both outputs is supported per the datasheet.
Common failure symptoms
- Primary or domain MOSFET cooks despite a healthy PWM signal upstream
- Switch node looks slow or rounded on a scope when the gate driver is suspect
- PSU goes into thermal shutdown after a few seconds because the MOSFET is switching slowly

Yes. The IX4340N supports paralleling its two channels to deliver higher peak source/sink current to a single gate, useful for paralleled or very large MOSFETs.
Is this driver suitable for high-side switches?
No. The IX4340N is a low-side driver only; for high-side gate drive you need a bootstrap or isolated driver suitable for your topology.
What supply voltage should I use?
5V to 20V supply range is supported. For most ASIC PSU and DC-DC repair work the driver is fed from the 12V or 15V auxiliary rail.
