The OSG60R092H is an N-channel MOSFET rated at 600V / 37A in a TO-247 package, designed for primary-side switching in mining power supplies. It delivers low Rds(on) with extremely low switching losses and excellent uniformity across production lots — ensuring consistent performance when replacing failed devices in half-bridge and full-bridge PSU topologies.

Why Switching Loss Matters

Mining PSUs run their primary MOSFETs continuously at high frequency and high current. Replacement Procedure

Disconnect mains and discharge bulk capacitors — primary bus exceeds 400V DC. Locate the failed MOSFET near the main transformer heatsink. Inspect both half-bridge devices. Remove hardware, desolder leads, clean through-holes. Install the new OSG60R092H with correct orientation, apply thermal compound and torque. Power through a variac under progressive load. Replace both as a pair if either is suspect.
