This 10-pack of PCI-E 6-pin power cables is built with 18AWG tinned copper conductors and PVC insulation, cut to a 40cm (15.7 in) length for clean routing inside ASIC miner enclosures. The cables connect Bitmain APW3 and APW7 power supplies to the miner's control board and hashboard power harness. Tinned copper resists oxidation, maintaining low contact resistance over the cable's service life — critical for stable power delivery in 24/7 mining operations.

Why Replace PSU Cables

Mining PSU cables carry substantial current continuously. Over time, the connector pins develop micro-arcing and corrosion, increasing resistance at the contact points. This raises the temperature of the connector housing, softens the plastic, and eventually causes intermittent power drops or complete connection failure. A fresh set of cables restores clean, low-resistance contacts and eliminates a common source of nuisance shutdowns and hash rate instability.

Installation

Power off the miner and disconnect the existing cable from the PSU 6-pin output socket. Plug the new cable firmly until the latch clicks — a partially seated connector will arc under load. Route the cable away from hot components and secure with ties to prevent vibration fatigue at the strain relief. Repeat for each cable being replaced.
