About the Product

RTC6711 2.4GHz FM / FSK Receiver IC – High-Sensitivity RF Solution for Wireless Audio & Data Systems

The RTC6711 is a 2.4 GHz FM / FSK receiver IC in a compact 48-pin QFN package, designed for wireless audio systems, FSK data links, RF remote control and short-range wireless modules. It combines high-sensitivity reception with a built-in RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) output for adaptive-link applications, and supports SPI programming or 4-channel pin selection for simple drop-in designs. With a dual 3.3 V / 2.5 V supply option it fits both battery-operated and bus-powered boards.

Typical Applications

The RTC6711 is specified into: wireless audio receivers and headsets, FPV video link back-channels, low-rate FSK data links, RF remote-control end nodes, sensor-network sinks, and academic / hobbyist 2.4 GHz receiver designs. The on-chip RSSI output is especially useful when building adaptive receivers that track link quality or switch channels based on interference.

SPI vs. 4-Channel Pin Selection

For small-footprint designs with a fixed channel plan, 4-channel pin selection is a wiring-only configuration — no MCU required. For full flexibility across the ISM band, SPI control gives access to every channel plus configuration registers. Both modes use the same 48-pin QFN footprint, so you can prototype in pin-select mode and migrate to SPI without a board respin.
