When a chip position on your Whatsminer M30s series hash board fails, the entire chain can report zero hash rate or a significantly reduced output. Reflow Best Practices for the KF1958

Pre-heat the hash board to 100–120 °C to prevent thermal shock to surrounding components. Remove the failed chip with a hot-air station, clean the pads thoroughly, and apply solder paste using the dedicated KF1958 tin tool stencil for even ball placement. Reflow the new chip following a lead-free BGA profile. After cooling, verify clock and data signals on the repaired position before reinstalling the board in the miner chassis.
