Antminer E9 Pro Water Cooling Aluminum Block Kit | Hydro Retrofit for ETHash / ETC Mining Heat Management
The Antminer E9 Pro Water Cooling Aluminum Block Kit is a complete water-cooled heatsink retrofit for the air-cooled E9 Pro miner. Replaces the original fan-cooled aluminum heatsinks with 4 water-cooled cold plates covering 2 hashboards each — the loop pulls heat off the hashboards via forced liquid circulation, lowering junction temperatures during sustained mining and reducing acoustic signature.
Practical reason to retrofit an E9 Pro: the original fan cooling struggles in hot environments and the miner throttles or trips OTP at high ambient temperatures. A water loop pulls heat into an external radiator, holding sustained hashrate without thermal limit. Same install works for silencer enclosures (chassis fans removed = quiet operation) and immersion / hydro farm integration.

- 1.4 water cooling water separator — manifold for even coolant flow across the cold plates

Q: Does this kit include the pump and radiator?
A: No — this is the cold-plate + divider + tubing kit only. Pump, reservoir, and radiator come from a separate water-cooling kit sized to your fleet's total heat load. One pump can feed multiple miners off the same loop.
Q: Installation difficulty?
A: Moderate — open the miner, remove the original heatsinks (preserve the thermal interface), install the cold plates with fresh thermal paste, route the tubing through the chassis, install the divider, connect to the external loop. Leak-test before powering on. Plan on a full bench session per miner the first time.
Q: Keep the original chassis fans after the swap?
A: Hybrid setup is possible but most operators remove the fans (silencer + hydro = silent) and use a fan speed simulator on the control board to keep the firmware happy without fan-failure errors.
