Antminer Fan Adapter Cable – 4-Pin ATX to 4P Linear Cooling Fan Conversion
This fan adapter cable converts between 4-pin ATX (2×2P) and 4P linear fan connectors, enabling standard cooling fans to interface with Antminer control boards that use a different pinout. Compatible with the Antminer S19K Pro and its C76 control board, the cable provides a plug-and-play solution for fan replacement or configuration changes without rewiring or pin-swapping.
When You Need a Fan Adapter
Antminer models use different fan connector formats across generations — some use a 4P linear plug while others use a 2×2P ATX-style header. When replacing a failed fan or upgrading to a higher-airflow model, the new fan may use the opposite connector type. This adapter bridges the gap, carrying the 12V power, ground, PWM control and tachometer signals across both connector formats so the control board can drive and monitor the fan normally.
Installation
Power off the miner. Plug the 2×2P end of the adapter into the control board fan header and the 4P linear end into the replacement fan's connector (or vice versa, depending on your configuration). Ensure both connections are fully seated. Power on and verify the fan reports a stable RPM reading and responds to PWM speed control through the miner dashboard. The cable is short enough to route inside the chassis without interfering with airflow.
