Antminer S19XP Water Cooling Plate Kit – Complete Upgrade for Improved Heat Dissipation
This Antminer S19XP water cooling plate kit is a complete retrofit package replacing the stock air-cooled heatsink with an integrated water cooling system. The kit includes 3 water cooling plates (one per hashboard), 2 separators, 2 m of silicone water pipe, 2 m of main water pipe and all necessary clamps. The plates feature wider internal channels for improved coolant circulation, lower chip temperatures, reduced noise and longer component life.
Benefits of Water Cooling an S19XP
The S19XP generates substantial heat at full hash rate. Stock air cooling relies on high-RPM fans pushing air through a dense heatsink stack — effective but loud (often above 75 dB) and limited in hot climates or dense racks. Water cooling removes heat through liquid circulation, which is far more efficient per unit of energy. The result is 10–20 °C lower peak chip temperatures, reduced thermal throttling, zero fan noise and extended ASIC lifespan. For noise-sensitive locations, water cooling can be the difference between running and shutting down.
Installation Overview
Remove stock heatsinks and fans from each hashboard. Apply fresh thermal paste to the ASIC chip surfaces. Mount the water cooling plates using the original mounting holes — they are laser-cut and welded for precise S19XP alignment. Connect plates in series or parallel with the silicone pipes and clamps, then route main pipes to your external pump and radiator. Fill with distilled water or dedicated coolant, bleed air from the system and power on. Monitor chip temperatures in the dashboard — a properly installed loop shows significantly lower and more uniform readings across all three hashboards.
