Antminer S21XP Hash Board Thermal Grease Mold – 3-Piece Engineering Plastic Stencil for ASIC Chip Heat Dissipation
The Antminer S21XP thermal grease mold is designed specifically for the Bitmain S21XP miner and is a core auxiliary tool for ASIC chip heat-dissipation maintenance. Built around the S21XP's ultra-high hash density, the mold solves the bench-side pain points of uneven grease application and uncontrolled thickness — the two issues that cause chip-to-heatsink heat-transfer failures and force premature shutdowns. The mold uses a three-piece design (Left, Right, BOT), molded in one piece from anti-static, high-temperature-resistant engineering plastic, with apertures that perfectly fit the S21XP hashboard chip array. Available as Left + Right stencil, BOT stencil, or the Full Kit, and offered in two hashboard versions: A3HB70501 and A3HB70503 — select the version that matches your hashboard before ordering.
Three-Piece Design — Left, Right & BOT
The S21XP hashboard ASIC array splits into three distinct regions, and a single one-size mold rarely aligns cleanly across all of them. This mold addresses that geometry with three matched pieces: the Left and Right molds handle the side chip arrays, and the BOT mold covers the bottom chip array. Each piece is shaped to its own footprint so the apertures sit exactly over the chips they are meant to grease. The Full Kit gives complete hashboard coverage; the Left + Right or BOT options let a repair shop replace only the piece it actually uses on a given workflow.
Why a Dedicated Mold for the S21XP's Ultra-High Hash Density
Manual thermal grease application onto an S21XP hashboard is the single biggest source of post-repair temperature variance: too thick on one chip, too thin on the next, smears bridging onto neighbouring components. At S21XP densities, even small thickness errors translate into measurable hash-rate decay or thermal-shutdown events. The mold enforces a controlled, uniform grease layer in a single pull, eliminating air-bubble residue under the chip and producing a flat, repeatable thermal interface across the entire array — which is what keeps the miner stable for 24/7 continuous operation.

The S21XP ships with two distinct hashboard revisions: A3HB70501 and A3HB70503. Aperture positions on this mold are matched to one revision at a time, not both. Identify your hashboard revision by reading the silkscreen on the board itself, then select the matching variant at checkout. Ordering the wrong version produces misaligned apertures that destroy the whole benefit of a precision mold — if in doubt, photograph the silkscreen and email us before placing the order.
Important Notes — Compatibility, Storage & TIM Choice
This mold is compatible only with the Antminer S21XP air-cooled hashboard, in the specific revision (A3HB70501 or A3HB70503) you select. It is not compatible with the S21XP Hydro, the S21+, the S21 Pro, the S21 or any other miner — chip-pattern and heatsink footprint differ. For best results, pair the mold with a high-conductivity silicone thermal grease (≥6 W/m·K is the standard recommendation for dense ASIC hashboards); an 8 W/mK silicone gel is the recommended class for this hashboard density. Handle without bending, store flat in a dry, dust-free environment, and clean residual grease off after every session to keep aperture geometry sharp.
