Keep Your Mining Farm Running Smoothly
The PSU APW12 1417a is perfect for mining farms, where having replacement power supplies on hand can significantly reduce downtime. With short-circuit protection, overheat protection and low-voltage input protection, this power supply ensures the safety and longevity of the mining operation.
Installation
Power down the miner, isolate the rack from mains and wait 5 minutes for capacitor discharge. Unplug the C20 mains, then unplug the DC output cables from the miner shell — note the orientation. Remove the failed APW12 from its mount, slide in the new APW121417a, reconnect the DC cables to the same hashboard positions, then reconnect the mains cable. Power up; the miner should see the new PSU within a few seconds. Verify hashboard voltage and current are within Bitmain's spec window for the L7, D7, S19j or S19L under full load.
