Black Mini Gen2 Brushless DC Silencer — 140mm Fan Adapter for Antminer S21 Family
The premium Gen2 brushless DC silencer blower dedicated to the Antminer S21 family. Pre-fitted with a 140mm fan exhaust adapter for all S21 generation miners: S21, S21+, S21 Pro, S21 Pro+, S21 XP, T21. One blower, one adapter, plug-and-play for the entire S21 lineup.
Why Gen2 Brushless DC vs Gen1 AC capacitor
The Gen2 brushless DC motor replaces the AC capacitor motor of our Black Mini Standard (Gen1). Benefits over Gen1:
- 30-50% energy savings vs AC capacitor at equivalent airflow
- Stepless speed knob — continuous wind regulation, vs Gen1's 3-position fixed switch
- 50Hz / 60Hz universal input — runs identically on US, EU, UK, AU power grids without burning the motor
- Lower acoustic floor — variable frequency lets you reduce noise further during cooler hours or lower hashboard load
- Brushless = no carbon brushes — extended lifetime, no brush wear
- Smaller compact size than Silver Industrial — lower shipping costs and easier handling
S21 family thermal envelope
The Antminer S21 family runs hotter than legacy S19 — the S21 Pro+ and S21 XP push into the 250+ TH/s range and require sustained ducted airflow to avoid thermal throttling. The Gen2 silencer's 1300 m³/h (~765 CFM) matches the 4 × 140mm fan back-pressure of the S21 chassis. The stepless knob lets you tune airflow to your room ambient — full output during warm afternoons, trim down at night.
Fan adapter — 140mm exhaust pre-fitted
The included exhaust adapter is built for the Antminer S21 family 4-fan layout:
- S21, S21+, T21 — standard S21 chassis
- S21 Pro, S21 Pro+, S21 XP — Pro family 4-fan layout
Same physical exhaust footprint across all S21 generations — one adapter covers the lineup.
Easy installation
Remove the 4 original S21 fans, plug a fan speed simulator into each of the 4 fan headers (Antminer S21/T21 simulator recommended), mate the blower exhaust to the included 140mm × 4 adapter, connect 220V power. Operational in 10 minutes. Cooling effect after install : approximately -10°C on S21 internal temperature.
