The FAN7382M1 is a monolithic high and low side gate driver IC specifically designed for power supply units (PSUs). This versatile IC can power MOSFETs and IGBTs up to a voltage of +600V, making it suitable for various applications that require efficient and stable power control.

The FAN7382M1 features a high-voltage process and incorporates a common-mode noise canceling technology, ensuring stability even in high DV/DT noise environments. This noise cancellation circuit mitigates the effects of noise, allowing for reliable and consistent operation.

High-Voltage Operation, Noise Cancellation, and Protection for Enhanced Performance

With a floating channel designed for +600V bootstrap operation, the FAN7382M1 provides a typical source/sink drive capability of 350mA/650mA for two channels. This enables efficient switching and control of high-power devices. The IC also extends the allowed negative VS swing to -9V for signal propagation when VCC and VBS are at 15V, further enhancing its versatility.

The FAN7382M1 includes UVLO (Undervoltage Lockout) circuits on both channels, offering protection against potential malfunctions when VCC or VBS falls below a specific threshold voltage. This adds an extra layer of safety and reliability to the system.

Featuring TTL-compatible input logic threshold levels, the FAN7382M1 ensures easy integration with existing systems. The IC has matching propagation delays below 50 ns, resulting in precise and synchronized switching. The output is in phase with the input, simplifying the control and operation of power devices.
