The IPW60R070C6 is an N-channel SuperJunction MOSFET rated at 600V / 53A in a TO-247 package, designed for high-efficiency primary-side switching in power converters. With 70mΩ Rds(on), 391W power dissipation and a 12ns rise time, it delivers extremely low switching and conduction losses. Lead-free and halogen-free construction, high commutation durability — a proven device for mining PSU repair across Whatsminer, Antminer and Avalon platforms.
SuperJunction Advantage in Mining PSUs
SuperJunction technology uses a columnar charge-balance structure that dramatically reduces Rds(on) for a given voltage rating compared to conventional planar MOSFETs. In a mining PSU's primary-side half-bridge or full-bridge circuit, lower Rds(on) means less conduction loss and less heat generation, which directly extends the PSU's service life. Replacement Procedure
Disconnect mains and discharge bulk capacitors — primary-side bus exceeds 400 V DC. Locate the failed MOSFET on the primary switching board, mounted to the main heatsink near the power transformer. Inspect both devices in the half-bridge pair. Remove mounting hardware, desolder leads, clean pads. Install the new IPW60R070C6 with correct pin orientation, apply thermal compound to the heatsink contact surface and torque the mounting screw. Power through a variac under progressive load and verify clean output. Replace both half-bridge MOSFETs as a pair if either is suspect.
