The PA800V477M0E (G477) is a 470 µF / 2.5 V polymer SMD capacitor used in the power filtering stage of Iceriver KS0 Pro and KS3L hash boards. Its ultra-low 4.5 mΩ ESR and 6A ripple current rating keep the ASIC supply rail clean under heavy switching loads, preventing the voltage droops that cause chip-level hash errors or board-level shutdowns.
Why Low ESR Matters on ASIC Hash Boards
Every time an ASIC chip transitions between hash rounds, it draws a sharp current pulse from the local power rail. If the output capacitor's ESR is too high, each pulse produces a voltage dip large enough to corrupt the hash result or trip the chip's internal undervoltage lockout.
