Antminer L7 Silver Industrial Silencer — L7-9050, L7-9500, L7-8800
The dedicated Silver Industrial silencer for the Antminer L7 Scrypt mining series, the flagship Litecoin / Dogecoin merge-mining ASIC. Compatible with all common L7 variants: L7-9050 (9.05 GH/s), L7-9500 (9.5 GH/s), L7-8800 (8.8 GH/s) and similar revisions.
Choose between a 200W motor at 1750 CFM or a 300W motor at 2000 CFM based on ambient temperature, duct length and operating profile.
Engineered for the L7 cooling layout
The L7 uses four 120mm linear 4-pin cooling fans. The Silver Industrial replaces all four with a single high-volume blower channelled through an acoustic enclosure. Blower static pressure is matched to typical L7 hashboard back-pressure (3 hashboards × Scrypt chip stack) so cooling headroom stays intact while tonal fan noise drops by 15-25 dB.
Pure copper-core motor, continuous-duty AC
The blower motor is a pure copper-core AC induction motor in a rugged metal housing, weight ~12 kg, rated for continuous 24/7 duty cycle. No PWM electronics that can fail; an on-unit High / Medium / Low speed switch trims airflow vs. noise without firmware modification.
Linear 4-pin fan simulators included
The kit ships 4 × linear 4-pin Antminer fan simulators. Plug into the L7 control board fan headers so the firmware reads valid PWM signals and does not throw fan-error warnings while the external blower handles cooling. No bypass cable splicing or firmware patching required.
Acoustic performance — home and small-fleet use
Stock L7 noise: typically 75-80 dB at 1 m. Silver Industrial installed with proper exhaust ducting: 50-60 dB at 1 m. Performance varies with ambient temperature, duct length, room volume and miner load. For residential garage or shed installation, 200W is usually sufficient; for warm climates or long exhaust runs, choose 300W.
