The Whatsminer CB6 V10 control board is a brand-new PCBA replacement for the controller module used across a wide span of MicroBT air-cooled miners. It restores the management, network and hashboard-communication functions when the original controller has failed from heat, surge or firmware corruption.
The CB6 V10 ships ready to drop into the original control-board slot. Pair it with the matching signal cable and reload the firmware to bring the miner back online without sending the unit to a remote repair centre.

Installation and firmware reload
Power off the miner and disconnect the AC supply before opening the controller bay. Remove the failed CB6, unplug the PSU signal cable and the three hashboard ribbon cables, then mount the new CB6 V10 in the same orientation. Re-flash the firmware that matches the host model (M30s, M31s+, M50, etc.) using the standard MicroBT loader before reconnecting the hashboards. Always verify ground continuity and that the PSU signal cable is fully seated before powering the unit back on.
Compatibility
The CB6 V10 is the air-cooled variant of the CB6 family. It supports M20s, M21s, M30, M30s, M31s+, M32, M50 and M50s. For immersion-cooled deployments, use the CB6 V7 variant, which exposes the connector layout suited to oil tanks. Always cross-check the model label printed on the original control board before ordering, since some early M30s production runs used a different controller revision.

The CB6 V10 is confirmed for M20s, M21s, M30, M30s, M31s+, M32, M50 and M50s. For M30s++, M50s++ or newer M60 hardware, confirm the controller revision on the failed board first — contact us with a photo if you are unsure.
Do I need a new signal cable too?
If the existing signal cable is intact, you can reuse it. If the failure was caused by a power surge or burnt connector, replace the signal cable at the same time to avoid re-damaging the new controller.
Will I need to re-flash the firmware?
Yes. A new control board ships blank or with generic firmware. Load the official MicroBT firmware that matches your miner model before connecting the hashboards.
