Q: What's the typical detection range?
A: Typical effective range is 20 cm to 4-5 meters for hard reflective surfaces. Soft / absorbent surfaces (foam, dense fabric) reduce range. Temperature affects speed of sound — high-precision applications should compensate for ambient temperature in software.

Q: Can I submerge the entire module in water?
