Antminer S21 XP IMM Oil-Resistant AC Power Cord – 2.5mm² 1.5m for Immersion Cooling
This oil-resistant AC power cord is engineered for the Antminer S21 XP IMM operating in oil immersion cooling environments. It features a 2.5mm² wire gauge over a 1.5m length, with specialised insulation that resists degradation from continuous exposure to dielectric cooling oil. Standard power cords deteriorate rapidly in immersion tanks — the insulation softens, swells and eventually fails, creating a safety hazard and risking miner downtime.
Why Oil-Resistant Cords Are Essential
Immersion-cooled miners are submerged in dielectric fluid that strips standard PVC insulation over weeks or months. The oil penetrates micro-cracks in the insulation, causing it to swell, lose flexibility and eventually expose the conductor — a direct safety risk in a high-current power cable. This cord's oil-resistant jacket is chemically formulated to resist dielectric fluid absorption, maintaining its mechanical and electrical integrity over the service life of the miner.
Installation
Route the cord through the immersion tank's cable gland or sealed pass-through. Plug the PSU-side connector into the S21 XP's AC inlet and the mains-side plug into your PDU or circuit breaker. Ensure both connections are fully seated before filling or topping up the immersion tank. Inspect the cord periodically for any signs of swelling or discolouration at the oil line boundary.
