Avalon Canaan 1446 / 1466 / 1566 Power Supply Cable to PDU – C20 Plug

This 1.5m PDU-to-C20 power cord connects an Avalon Canaan A1446, A1466 or A1566 miner to the standard PDU socket in a mining farm rack. The cable is built with 14AWG copper conductors, rated 250V / 16A, and terminates in a C20 male plug on the miner side and a PDU socket connector on the rack side. It is the right cord for any farm operator standardising on Avalon Canaan A14xx / A15xx series and feeding them from a 32A or 16A rack PDU.

Why C20 on These Avalons

The Avalon 1446, 1466 and 1566 use a chassis inlet that accepts a C20 plug (not the older C19/C13 variants). Pairing this with a PDU outlet on the rack lets each miner be hot-swapped from the front of the cabinet without disturbing neighbouring units. The 14AWG copper handles the full sustained current of these miners (typically 13-15A at 220V) without temperature rise on the cable.

Installation

Plug the C20 end firmly into the Avalon chassis inlet. Route the cable along the rack management, then plug the PDU end into the matching PDU socket. Verify the PDU outlet rating matches or exceeds the miner's continuous current draw. Power on the miner and confirm normal startup — no flickering, no breaker trip, and a stable inlet voltage in the dashboard.
