About the Product

BM1485 ASIC Chip for Antminer L3 / L3+ / L3++ Hashboard Repair

The BM1485 is the Scrypt (Litecoin / Dogecoin) ASIC chip used across Bitmain's Antminer L3, L3+, L3++ hashboards. A dead or cracked BM1485 is the single most common cause of a missing hash engine, a low chip-count scan, or a chain stuck at lower-than-expected hashrate. This brand-new, original SMD replacement restores full chip count on the repaired chain and returns the miner to its rated hashrate without any firmware change.

Typical Use in L3 / L3+ / L3++ Hashboard Repair

  • Chain error recovery — replacing failed chips that knock the chain offline.
  • Hashrate restoration — recovering lost MH/s on partially-functional boards.
  • Domain recovery — restoring missing voltage domains caused by single failed chip in series.
  • Production refurbishment — bulk BM1485 stock for L3 family rework lines.
  • End-of-life sustainment — keeping L3 / L3+ / L3++ fleets productive past warranty.

FAQ — BM1485 ASIC Chip

Q: How many BM1485 chips per L3+ hashboard?
A: Each L3+ hashboard typically carries 72 BM1485 chips arranged across multiple power domains. Use a chip-scan test fixture to identify the specific failed positions before ordering replacement quantities.

Q: BM1485 vs BM1489 — different generations?
A: Yes. BM1485 is the older generation chip for L3 / L3+ / L3++. BM1489 is the newer chip used on Antminer L7. Different miners, different chip families. Verify your miner model before ordering.

Q: Do I need firmware flash after replacement?
A: No — BM1485 is a drop-in hashing ASIC with no on-chip firmware. After hot-air rework / reflow, the chip joins the chain automatically. Run a chip scan to verify the new device registers properly.

Q: Bulk pricing for L3 repair shops?
A: Yes — email contact@lys-sz.com with your monthly L3 board rework volume for tier pricing on BM1485 stock by the reel.
