BM1764AB Tin Tool Kit – Stencil & Chip Holder for Antminer D7 Hashboard Repair

This BM1764 / BM1764AB tin tool kit includes a high-grade carbon steel stencil and a precision-aligned chip holder for accurate solder paste application when replacing ASIC chips on the Antminer D7 hashboard. The stencil withstands temperatures up to 450°C without warping and features an anti-static coating to protect sensitive BM1764 chips during handling. Available as single-chip or 4-in-1 multi-chip stencil for individual or batch repairs.

Why a Kit Beats a Standalone Stencil

The chip holder stabilises the BM1764 during paste application, preventing shift that causes misaligned apertures and uneven solder deposits. Without it, the chip can move during the squeegee pass, producing bridged pads or insufficient coverage. The combined kit ensures repeatable, high-quality tinning in a single pass — reducing rework and improving first-attempt yield on D7 hashboard repairs.

How to Use

Secure the BM1764 chip in the anti-static holder. Align the stencil over the chip so apertures register with the BGA pads. Apply solder paste with a squeegee in one pass. Lift vertically. Place the chip on the prepared D7 hashboard footprint and reflow. Clean stencil and holder with IPA after use.
