The ESP32-CAM is the compact camera-enabled IoT development board built around Espressif's ESP32 SoC — the workhorse module for smart home cameras, QR code readers, wireless monitoring, and AI-on-the-edge vision projects. Compact DIP package fits standard breadboards and production PCBs for rapid prototyping through to production deployment.
Dual-core 32-bit Xtensa LX6 CPU up to 240 MHz / 600 DMIPS handles real-time image processing, WiFi networking, and Bluetooth simultaneously. 520 KB SRAM + 4 MB external PSRAM provides enough memory for camera frame buffers + WiFi stack + application logic.
