The MIMXRT1052CVL5B is a high-speed embedded-control MCU built on a 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M7 core running at 528MHz with external program memory support. NXP's RT1050 series is engineered for the demanding workload of industrial automation, IoT gateways, and smart-device controllers — applications where the throughput of a Cortex-M7 plus the determinism of a real-time MCU outperforms a heavier Cortex-A application processor.

The chip ships with 512KB SRAM, an integrated LCD controller, and a wide connectivity stack (CANbus, Ethernet, USB OTG, SPI, I²C, 12× UART) — the toolkit for control-loop firmware that needs to talk to networks, drives, and HMI panels at industrial speeds. With 127 GPIO pins and 20× 12-bit ADCs, board designers have plenty of I/O margin for sensor fusion, motor encoder feedback, and real-time control tasks.
