SGM2202-1.8YN5G/TR (G49IC) 1.8V LDO – Antminer Hashboard Voltage Regulator
The SGM2202-1.8YN5G/TR (marking G49IC) is a 1.8V LDO voltage regulator in a SOT23-5 package, used on Antminer L3+ hashboards and general Antminer PSU applications. It provides stable 1.8V regulation for local logic and I/O circuits on the hashboard. Minimum order 10 pieces. New original component.
Why LDOs Fail on Hashboards
LDO regulators on hashboards supply the low-voltage rails that feed sensitive digital logic. Sustained thermal stress and transient events degrade the device over time. A failed LDO causes its downstream circuit to lose power — the miner reports chip errors or board detection failures even though the ASIC chips themselves may be functional.
Replacement Procedure
Locate the failed G49IC on the hashboard — SOT23-5 package near the affected circuit. Desolder with hot air at 300–330°C, clean pads, place the new device with pin 1 aligned and reflow. Verify 1.8V on the output before reinstalling.
