SN7805D 5V Three-Terminal Positive Regulator for Crypto Miner Repair
The SN7805D is a high-performance three-terminal positive voltage regulator that delivers a stable 5V output at up to 1A with internal current limiting, thermal shutdown and safe-operating-area protection. Built-in OVP and CLP circuitry add an extra layer of reliability for the auxiliary 5V rails found on cryptocurrency miner control boards and PSU supervisor circuits.
Its versatile three-terminal design lets it be used either as a fixed 5V supply or — with a small number of external components — as part of an adjustable voltage or current arrangement. A built-in ESD protection unit (Machine Model 500V, HBM 5kV) protects the part during board-level handling.
