C19 to C20 AC Power Cord 1.5m – Heavy-Duty PDU Cable for ASIC Mining Equipment

This IEC C19 to C20 power cord is a 1.5 m (5 ft) heavy-duty cable rated at 250 V with 14 AWG conductors, designed to connect ASIC miners to Power Distribution Units (PDUs) in rack-mounted facilities. The C19 female end plugs into the miner's PSU inlet, while the C20 male end connects to the PDU output. The conductor gauge ensures minimal voltage drop across the run — critical when every fraction of a volt affects miner stability.

Why Cable Quality Matters in Mining

A facility with hundreds of machines drawing 2,000–5,000 W each stresses every power cable in the chain. An undersized cord develops resistive heating at the contacts and along the conductor, wasting energy and creating a fire risk. Over time, the heat softens the connector plastic and loosens pin contact pressure — a self-reinforcing failure loop. The most visible symptom is a warm or melted housing; the more insidious failure is a slight voltage drop that brownouts the PSU and reduces hash rate without triggering an alarm.

Installation Notes

Plug the C19 female connector firmly into the miner's PSU inlet until it seats fully. Connect the C20 male end into the PDU output socket. A partially-seated C19/C20 connection will arc under load. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends near the connectors, as repeated flexing at the strain relief can break internal conductors. In dense rack environments, use cable management ties to keep cords organised and prevent them from obstructing airflow.
