With integrated circuits for leading-edge PFC and trailing-edge pulse width modulation (PWM), it provides comprehensive control for switch mode power supplies.

The CM6800UX incorporates a 1A capable gate driver, minimizing the need for external driver circuitry and reducing component costs. Its low power requirements increase efficiency, resulting in improved overall system performance. In case of a sudden load drop, the overvoltage comparator turns off the PFC section, ensuring protection and safety.

Versatile Control for Switch Mode Power Supplies with PFC and PWM Integration

Featuring a 23V Bi-CMOS process, the CM6800UX offers excellent performance and reliability. It includes peak current limiting, input voltage brownout protection, and foldback current limit for short-circuit protection in the PWM section. The PWM section can operate in current or voltage mode up to 250kHz, with an accurate 50% duty cycle limit to prevent transformer saturation.
