About the Product

PSU Output Tester – Antminer & Whatsminer Voltage Detection

Diagnose power-supply faults in minutes without risking your hash boards. This PSU output tester connects directly to Antminer and Whatsminer power supplies and performs independent voltage and load tests — no control board, no computing board, no miner chassis required. If a miner will not power on or keeps shutting down mid-operation, plug the PSU into this tester first to confirm whether the power supply or the miner itself is at fault.

Broad PSU Compatibility

The tester supports the most widely deployed Bitmain and MicroBT power supplies across multiple generations. On the Antminer side it covers the APW8, APW9, APW9+, APW12 (including APW121215 variants a through g and APW121417 a/b). On the Whatsminer side it works with the P20, P21, P21D, P21E, P221C, and P222C. A single tester handles both brands, reducing the tool count on a multi-vendor repair bench.

How Independent Voltage Testing Saves Time

The traditional troubleshooting method — swapping a suspect PSU into a known-good miner — ties up two machines and still does not tell you exactly which output rail failed. This tester isolates the PSU and checks each output independently, so you know within seconds whether the main hash-board rail and the 12 V auxiliary rail are delivering the correct voltages under load. Failed PSUs go straight to the repair queue or replacement bin; good PSUs get returned to service immediately.

Using the Tester in a Repair Workflow

Connect the PSU to the tester via the appropriate cable, plug in mains power, and read the voltage outputs on the display. Compare the readings against the PSU's rated output specifications. If a rail reads low or absent, the PSU needs repair — check the primary-side fuse, bridge rectifier, and main switching transistors. If all rails read within spec, the fault is inside the miner (hash board, control board, or wiring harness) and the PSU can be cleared.
