About the Product

NCP114ASN120T1G CACMTM 1.2V LDO – Antminer S19K Pro Hashboard Repair

The NCP114ASN120T1G (marking CACMTM) is a 1.2V LDO regulator in a TSOP-5 package, used on the Antminer S19K Pro hashboard to supply the regulated 1.2V rail for ASIC chip I/O and peripheral logic. It delivers up to 300mA with a dropout of just 135mV, ±1% output accuracy and 75dB ripple rejection at 1kHz. Quiescent current is only 50µA, dropping to 0.1µA in standby. New original component.

Why This LDO Fails on S19K Pro Hashboards

The 1.2V rail powers sensitive digital logic alongside the ASIC chips. Continuous high-temperature operation degrades the LDO over time, and a transient event on the input or output can destroy it instantly. A failed NCP114 drops the 1.2V rail, causing the chip group it feeds to lose communication with the control board — the miner reports missing chips or zero hash rate on the affected domain. The high ripple rejection is critical for isolating PSU noise from the digital logic, which is why a generic LDO is not a suitable substitute.

Replacement Procedure

Remove the hashboard and locate the failed LDO near the affected chip group — the TSOP-5 package is small and marked CACMTM. Measure the output pin: it should read 1.2V under bias. An absent or out-of-range reading confirms failure. Desolder with hot air at 300–330°C, clean pads with flux and solder wick, place the new device with pin 1 aligned and reflow. Confirm 1.2V output, reinstall and verify full chip detection in the dashboard.
