ASIC chips are original — BM1397, BM1398, BM1362, BM1366, BM1368, BM1370 and the equivalent MicroBT and Canaan series are sourced from channels that handle authentic factory chips. We don't carry counterfeit or remarked ASIC chips. Discrete components (capacitors, MOSFETs, regulators) are sourced from major electronic component channels and clearly labeled.

What's the difference between a "genuine" ASIC chip and a "pull" or "recovered" chip ?
Pull chips are recovered from used hashboards. They cost less but carry higher failure rates because they've already been through reflow once and may have suffered thermal stress. Where we stock pulls, they're clearly labeled. Most of our hashboard ASIC inventory is new genuine.

Do I need an EEPROM remapping tool after replacing a single chip on a hashboard ?
Yes for current-generation Antminer (S19 / S21) and Whatsminer (M30+) hashboards — the firmware tracks bad chip locations and you need to remap after physical replacement. Our universal EEPROM programming cable covers Antminer and Whatsminer hashboards.
